Something to consider...

A Great Pilgrimage
Kabir (c.1440-1518)

I felt in need of a great pilgrimage
so I sat still for three
days

and God came
to me.

Just today I asked for guidance.... I'm trying not to get caught up with emotions of trying to please too many people in my life.....but I want to make the best decision for my husband and I.....We're planning to move.....kids and friends want us closer not further away.....not sure I can sit still for 3 days though! But I turned the matter over....and will live fully one day at a time and be grateful for the here and now.

I love this post! AND I agree with Kabir- I'm a big fan of eastern ideas(He's a super mellow Muslim-right?! tho -I think he was a predecessor of Ghandi-not positive.)
My dad tells me to be patient and wait before reacting to things since you usually end up looking back on things with wisdom you can't have at the time. He says that as you consider a decision, you collect the wisdom of the moments that pass- and that you shouldn't make a decision until you have a pocket full of wisdom. ---Good advice! I've been trying to be patient and wait lately...It's difficult. :)
